          Richard Rice is a certified and experienced x-ray tech.  He has extensive experience in the field of
       orthopaedic radiology, and is currently employed as the sole x-ray tech for the Flagstaff Bone &
       Joint, an orthopaedic clinic, located adjacent to Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. 

           Mr. Rice developed the
       Sunrise Extender after a few
       weeks of performing axial knee
       views in the absence of a
       Merchant Board and with no
       outside help.  Another of his
       main concerns in performing
       his job is patient comfort. 
       Since almost all patients who
       come to him are either in pain
       or experiencing some level of
       stress or trauma, offering them
       this device helps to alleviate
       patient pain as well as to lower
       x-ray exposure.  Mr. Rice and
